Several animal welfare-organizations in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex are hosting the 15th Wags and Waves family and dog event at Hawaiian Waters Water Park on Saturday, SEPTEMBER 21, 2024. All proceeds will benefit Cat Matchers, DFW Rescue Me,
Wags and Waves gives families the opportunity to “show-off” a very important member of their family – their dogs. The fun-filled event includes unique vendors and crafts along with the opportunity to float down the Kona Kooler Lazy River and catch some waves in the Waikiki Beach Wave Pool. This is our fifteenth year for this unique event. We expect more than 1,000 human attendees and over 1,100 dogs of all breeds.
Participating rescue groups rely heavily on the local community’s support to make Wags and Waves a success. We respectfully request your support of this worthwhile cause by donating items for the event or becoming a vendor at the park. Donations can be products, services or gift certificates. Your participation will be of great value to the animals in our care and your generosity will be seen by many loyal animal supporters who love to support businesses that care about animal welfare. Product donors are listed on the large Donor board at the event and on the Sponsors Page of this website.
